I searched and searched for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe and after many years I finally found it … that’s why they are the ‘best ever, award winning, ultimate’ chocolate chip cookies. This has been my go-to recipe ever since.
Ingredients:
- 4 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 c white sugar
- 2 packages of instant vanilla pudding powder (Jello)
- 4 eggs
- 2 c butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 c mini chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and white and brown sugar.
- Beat in pudding powder.
- Stir in eggs and vanilla.
- Blend in flour mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate dough for approximately 1 hour.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
